Older style bedside clock mode

So I bought the dock station for my Rezound so I could use it as my bedroom clock and alarm at night but I'm not overly fond of the newer style dock mode. I really prefer the older style bedside mode clock where the screen would go black and just the dimmed clock would bounce around the screen all night.

Does anyone know where I can get the .apk for that and has anyone tried to use it without having to get rid of "dock mode" all together?

Maybe try deskclock plus? It's really the old Droid style clock/dock.

Alarm Plus in the market works good for a bedside clock! Its free too!

I just got the Spiderpodium from Breffo (breffo.com) and tried the dock mode out for the first time on my desk (plugged in only via the standard USB cable provided with the Rezound).

That neat night clock came up after a few minutes.

I did Apps > Clock - to bring up the clock

Then hit the Dock Mode button, which flipped the screen to landscape in Dock Mode.

Then I hit the Flip Clock widget, which took me back to the Alarms screen.

Then just hit the Desk Clock (which viewed in landscape) and left it there for a few minutes and the night clock popped up!

Its funny you posted that because just Wednesday I discovered pretty much the same thing. That is, if I go to desk clock and just leave it there the "night clock" eventually comes on. I thought maybe it was just the ROM I was running but I guess not

That's the norm now on the Rezound. Some ROM's have doc mode available in the app drawer so you may want to look into that
