That's awesome! The iPhone 6 seems to be a trusty iteration. My brother still uses his as his daily driver!

My mum rocks an S3, well 2 and 2 note 4s, and 2 Note 8s and now a Note 9. Yes all at once. She is addicted to phones.

S3 is my favorite phone of all time.

Wow. I would have thought my S5 would be the oldest. I'd gladly run the Note 20 Ultra as the daily, but until the horrible playlist problems are sorted out, the S5 is far superior for physical playlists (this probably goes for any recent Android phones).

My back up device is the LG V30 which I have had for nearly three years and has been out since 2017. It works perfectly fine for it's purpose of just browsing the web. In the end of 2019, my wife was still using the S7 since 2017. I got her the S10e.

I'm still running my 2016 og pixel, it's been a great phone but the battery is going down hill fast. I have a brand new pixel 3XL I need to set up, but part of me wants to just stick my sim back in my Moto X Pure Edition (which is working perfectly ) because I actually miss using it and it's all set up, updated, and ready to Rock' n Roll

The phone industry was smart by getting rid of replaceable batteries...... I take extremely good care of my phones, and the only reason I replace them is because of batteries dying. If I had a phone I really liked, with a replaceable battery, I'd probably never get rid of it

I love it. I have a battery mod on the back and get great battery life. The wife has a Moto Z3 play with a battery mod and loves it.

The "Z" series is truly awesome. Glad you and your wife are liking them! Battery mods sound very useful, too!

Note 9! Very happy to not have jumped on the 10 or 20, have no issue with others who have done so. The 9 is a phenomenal phone, Jack, DAC, brilliant display, crystal clear reception, very fast, and paid off fully long time ago. Two batteries covered under Sammy extra warranty and still running smoothly.

I guess if a landline counts, my oldest daily driver would be c. 1915-20. A smaller country junction phone with a bulldog transmitter. The separate receiver and transmitter type. I kept the landline solely to make the occasional call on them.

I think it's the worst move ever by the industry...ever. How nice it was to take out a battery low on charge and go to 100% in less than a minute. Why anyone wouldn't want that feature is puzzling to me.

I was being sarcastic.... I do that sometimes I agree with you completely, sealing up phones was a blatant money grab..... and I don't understand how the general public was okay with it :-\

It's not really that big a deal. Just treat external battery charger as if the replacement battery in your pocket. I even keep a second one charged in case I kill the first one.

It was *definitely* a blatant money grab, covered by the fact that buyers suddenly wanted less heavy phones and phones that had some level of water resistance.

That, and the necessity of using plastic covering to allow for access to a removable battery. To my knowledge, no "premium" covered phone, think glass or metal, had access to a removable battery.

I still have my Motorola Moto G4 which was only put out to pasture in the last week. (After purchasing my new Galaxy S21 Plus). I also still have an OG Motorola Razr in hot pink. Can’t bring myself to get rid of it, I loved it so much. Lol.
