I may be imagining it, but I swear the display is a smudgy mess after just a few minutes of use and that didn't always happen.

Not a huge deal as I just need to give it a wipe a lot more often, but I just feel like it's different. Am I noticing it more or is this a thing? I suppose there is the possibility that I need to wash my hands more often lol.

My Note 9 too... after eight months of VERY heavy use. Have to wipe it down with a microfiber cloth, lightly sprayed with Oakley lens solution, 2x a day.

I may be wrong but I thought I read somewhere not to use lens spray on our phones?

I heard that too... I spray a little on microfiber cloth then clean. Been doing this with all my phones for years. I can deal with what's happening as it's noticeable but not a major issue, currently.

Its not a permanent coating and frankly I'm surprised it lasted that long for you.

I bought some new coating to put on mine from Amazon. Its not bad.

This only happened to me once. My S8 screen coating wore off in less than 6 months.

I tried some from Amazon too. Screen would get so dirty I would have to stop and clean it; wiping with a microfiber didn't work.

I've only tried one application, but it's definitely better. Certainly not "good as new," but I can definitely live with it.
