Minneapolis, MN was down 4G and 3G but just now 3G is up and running again. I tried switching and all and didn't work either. Restart didn't work either. Don't know what happened but I didn't do it but whatever at least I got 3G.

3G/4G only came back on for me in the last 30-45 mins. I was still on 1X around 530-545pm.

4G down in West Sacramento, CA. since about 2:00 PM Pacific Time. I confirmed with other co-workers that have Verizon 4G, and they all have lost 4G too... At first I just had bars with no 1X, 3G or 4G. Then after rebooting I got 3G. ? a day with no 4G and it's killing me

Droid-Life had a story on the outage.
One of the comments from zepfloyd said that the outage only affects those that reboot the phone, or had it off and turned it on recently. Sleep mode is also affected, I believe.
Mine has been on all day, and it's working normally.
My GF has a DInc, and she's also getting 3G. Or maybe the outage isn't including New Jersey, who knows.

Never rebooted or had mine off till AFTER I did not have any 3G or 4G!!! So that assumption is wrong. It was Nationwide but maybe some networks were not hit!

I thought mine was back on from being down all afternoon. However, when talking on the phone with phone plugged in it died on me. Took me several attempts with several charger/charger locations to finally get to work again. Finally got it charging and powered back up and now my mobile network check box won't even become an active button for me no signal at alll..............and to think right after i cave and buy a bunch of the 10 cent apps from marketplace....please no master reset be needed!:-!

4g down in Indianapolis, just switched to 3g only. This sucks!

Greenwood here...went to 1x for about 3 hours, back on 3G now...home not in 4G area tho...

Ok we know what's going on now so people can stop "checking in" their area. It's a national outage done. They'll get it up and running soon hopefully. This is why we pay Big Red the big bucks so they can fix these things snappy like

Lol it's only one season. I think the Colts is worse being that I have season tickets which are worthless. 4G is back in Indianapolis.
BTW Philly is not doing too much better with the dream team.

I found out what the problem was. I was not getting 4G only 3G.I was only on CMDA s i did not get 4G . I went to CMDA\LTE and 4G came on. Working fine now.
