idk if it is actually the assistant or not, but it's reading EVERYTHING, and if for example i click the home button, it doesn't click it; it highlights it then google assistant goes "home button, blahblabla, blahblabla, double click to activate", then i can double click anywhere to activate it.

i can get to settings but I can't scroll through them because it acts like im clicking whatever part my finger is being ran acrossed, and google assistant begins sounding off everything there is to know about everything i touch.

this happened while it was in my hip case. idk what happened. even if I'm not touching it and the screen shuts off, google assistant sounds off that the screen shut off.

I can't find anything about this.

Not Assistant. Sounds like you have something mis-configured in your phone's Accessibility settings (like readout, etc.). Just go to your phone's settings, find the Accessibility option, and see if any of those are active. There's also a setting there to assign certain key presses to activate Accessibility options, so that might have happened with your case (kicking into whatever options were selected).

i just uninstalled assistant app, turned voice assist off, and it's still doing its thing anyway.
It's possible that TalkBack is enabled. Try a double tap and scrolling with two fingers at the same time to navigate through the menus and make sure it's disabled in the accessibility settings.
