OMG. Sprint is the worst!

I've been with all four national carriers (when at&t was cingular), I have been most satisfied with verizon. As for Sprint, there was one isolated incident that made me stay away from them. In general, their customer service was fine. There was one time that I walked into a store and paid my bill in cash. I was in a hurry and I left without the receipt. I don't know what happened but my payment never got registered. When I went back and complained to the manager, he did not cooperate. Since then, I never went back to them. It was back in 2004. It was partially my own fault too. However, as for now, I'm satisfied with verizon.

It sounds like you were the victim of theft by a rouge individual, not Sprint.

Over six years with sprint here, and everything has always been excellent. Cs is always great, coverage is great, data speeds are great... and no one can touch their pricing.
I'm way beyond satisfied, and bordering fanboyism. I recommend sprint to anyone who is in an area that they have coverage. Which is everywhere in the USA that ice been in the past six years. Obviously not Europe or Canada. :p

American companies doing business like this is exactly why America's best days are behind us!!!

Your the idiot that chose to order online, should have went into a store.

I sometimes order online too... usually for instant rebate as opposed to waiting for the mail-in rebate on in-store purchases. But before I place my order, I do check out the device at the store.

I'm on Sprint and I can say that their customer service isn't the best, but it has been a lot better than it was before(meaning a year ago). Sprint will work with their customers in giving them multiple extensions on their bill. I love Sprint customer service, and their professional expertise. I hope to remain a loyal customer until.... :):)

what i ment from that is that if your unhappy with your device within the 30 days of signing the contract, you return the phone to the place of purchase and are free to swap into any phone of your choice during those 30 days.

its a pain in the ass to do online.

Some quick research would have shown that stores like Radioshack and Best Buy sell the phones with instant rebates, and are much easier to get good service at than online.

Looks like this was 100% your fault. It's unrealistic to think that a store manager should take anyone's word for something like that these days. IF you didn't have a receipt, and they couldn't find proof that you did make a payment some other way, then the manager can't in good conscience just say "oh well, I'm sure you paid, let me fix that." Not to say that you're a dishonest person, but the bad apples have ruined the pie, and business have to be protective against it.

Leaving the receipt is their fault, but unless you're running a shady under the counter business, that manager should be able to pull up a sales transaction and print a copy of the receipt.

Not always the case if he payed in a authorized retailer they use a system called precash with that you can only pull up a transaction that happened in the past seven(7) days. They can't get anything passed that.

Not sure how a person leaving their recipt in store because they are in a hurry its the stores blame to take.

Been with sprint for the past 5 years never had a problem with them.

I've never had an issue with Sprint. They did however burn my Aunt when my grandfather died. She refuses to use them anymore because of that.

Been with Sprint since November 5th and no issues here. My grandparrents don't like them, because back in 2003 they had sprint but ended the contract and were faced with a ETF. Of course they did not know there was such thing since they said the rep "didn't tell them".

T-Mobile has amazing support, I called and they were speaking in very understandable English. Very nice and understanding.

Yup I'm going back to Tmobile myself. I have Sprint with the Evo and hate the service. Customer service sucks balls comared to Tmobile. I've also noticed that data speeds are much slower than on Tmobile. In fact, CDMA is just inferior to GSM in general.

Can't wait to get back on Tmobile. I'm getting a Nexus S!
