WELP, looks like I'll be getting my 3rd Droid Incredible shipped to me on Thursday. I seem to have had bad luck with these phones! My first one had a bad bluetooth chip in it, now my 2nd has a problem with the screen selecting buttons and moving the cursor around when I'm not touching it. So, let's hope 3rd time's the charm.

I love this phone otherwise ;)

Same Issue...

Dawg I feel you. I just got my 3rd on today. Seems to be working fine so far. It's funny how this seems to happen right after my 30 day deadline!

sounds like you got a bad case of "oops! dropped my phone, need to call verizon and ask for a new one." :)

Ha, no dropping, I promise! I've just gotten 2 out-of-the-box-defective phones. My motorola droid didn't have this many issues :p

You probably just needed to clean the optical trackpad. Mine tweeked out one day and i blew on it and cleaned it, been fine since.

I think that's my biggest concern with the way the DIncs are being sent out.

You know the name of the game for Verizon right now is 'Get them out, fast and furious!' in order to hit the promised ship dates. So, Quality Control has to take a hit somewhere. And its a bit concerning that there does seem like there are a number of people running into large-enough-to-request-a-replacement issues.

I am on my third also. It arrives today.

1st Incredible: Bought at launch... had a bad trackpad.

2nd Incredible: Received 3 weeks later, shipped with pink screen. Sent it right back.

3rd Incredible: Should be at my doorstep today. Lets hope third time is a charm.

 pink screen

Sorry to hear all of those war stories. I've had mine for a few weeks now and had no issues at all (knock on wood). I'm sure one you guys get a solid unit you will be thrilled with it.

Im on my second due to call quality issues and i kid you not did not realize how much was wrong with my first one until i got my second one and saw how much smoother everything ran....call quality is absolutely awesome always get 3 bars at home and four full bars when im out,my keyboard was really laggy before but i didnt think anything of it cause i was using swype but now im using shapewriter which i also tried before but didnt like it and just thought it was the app itself. Now using shapewriter and im lovin it-so smooth no mistakes.....no pink screen unlike before...so im in luv and i hope you guys' third one does it for you.

On my first Incredible, was the first in line to buy at my local VZW store on the first day it was available.

No problems unless you count the lost productivity due to playing with the darn thing..

Sorry, hope you guts get yours fixed asap..

 pink screen

Yes, everything was a shade of pink. Most noticeable was the HTC intro screen thats all white upon bootup and the big white numbers on the clock. I had my original at the time and compared the two together. There was a noticeable difference and me and tech support could not get it to go away.

Wow I heard of the bluetooth issue some people have had, and some people's phone simply not working after a few charges. That's bad enough but a pink screen!! I got my phone on 9/30 first phone and have had no issues with it except battery life. $41 later that isn't an issue anymore either. Hope you guys get a nice phone soon as this phone is really good. Sucks good luck guys!

You folks on your 2nd and 3rd (and getting them quickly) and here I am still waiting on my 1st 3 weeks later

I thought that Verizon had a policy of giving a customer the choice of receiving a new phone (any phone) after 3 returns for technical glitches....does anyone know if that's a policy or is it on a case by case basis?

Yeah you have the option to swap devices after 3 technical manufacturing defect replacements. At least that's the way it has worked for me in the past.

I got mine the first day they came out, it has been perfect other than yesterday in the middle of an email it shut down and restarted. Has anyone else had this happen?

They ended that policy a few months back cuz people were abusing it.
