On my Moto E device, why is it when I plug in a headset I get the error message 'begin play on connect feature activated causes issues?

Moto E device - when I plug in a headset 'begin play on connect feature activated causes issues

I get the message "begin play on connect feature activated" - then music starts/stops/starts - plays thru speaks then headset. Need to figure out how to deactivate this software/function/feature. Can't find an great resources on this.
