On s7 edge how do I add a contact on the home page

Want a quick touch feature on home to call or text my contacts without having to go into my contacts

Press and hold a blank space on your home screen, it will open up the edit menu, select widgets at the bottom and find the contacts widget.

From there scroll down and you're looking for Phone > Direct Dial or Direct Message. When you touch on one of those options, you'll be taken to your Contacts to choose who you're wanting to add to the homescreen.
