Hi all

I've had the g3 since launch, wonderful phone but maybe it's just my luck but I've had two replacements from amazon fail on me. First one had a battery issue and the second froze and shut off automatically on a couple of occassions. Now I'm in the dilemma of either sending the phone back and getting a full refund and purchasing a new phone or to hang onto this one. I've been looking at the Lenovo z2 pro or the oppo find 7 and I'm really torn. I do like the g3 but it's battery life has been poor for me.

I was wondering if anyone has actually used the other two phones and whether they could tell me how they are in the flesh? Would be much appreciated!

I would get a full refund then maybe purchase another g3 but from another store as that sound like they have a faulty batch. I got mine from the 3 store as soon as it came out and ive never had any problems with it

I agree. I'm either listening to music or playing games constantly, and I have no trouble getting a full day out of mine.

Some people have unrealistic expectations for battery life, especially those who come from smaller screens.

I have the International version and my first one was a dud. The wireless charging would switch on and off intermittently and i had a dead pixel line straight down the middle of the screen. got a replacement and have not looked back since. But yeah, give Amazon the boot and try a different store. Also, before i tweaked the phone i was easily getting a full day with the battery. Now i get alot more.

My advice, don't buy phones from amazon.

I was getting a full days worth of battery but after a couple of weeks it started dropping signal and I know this causes a lot of drain and furthermore it tends to freeze a lot as well. I've spoken to amazon.de (i have the 32gb 3gb ram) who are now telling me that i have to send it in for repairs as I'm out of the 30 day period. This was not the case the first time round as I was well over that period. I love the phone and I would get it again as long as it doesn't trouble me.
