On the Galaxy S8 is there a speech to text that actually works without sabotaging your conversation

Google Voice used to work really good for me on the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S7 unfortunately on Galaxy S8 it's easier to type out the words then to use Google Voice or Samsung voice. I'm on my 7th Galaxy S8 and every one of them are just as bad as that's the other. Does anyone have a solution to this is there a fix or a different app to possibly download that actually will repeat the conversation instead of changing the conversation right before you hit send
