I just received this today. I laid my watch on it and it did charge it but it was already at 97% before I did it. I bought this for my work so if for some reason I don't charge it overnight, I have something to charge it when I get to work. It was only 20.00 with shipping and it had a small foot print.
I will use it to charge over night though just to test to make sure it doesn't over heat it at all.

Would very much like to hear of both your experiences with using this for a good overnight charge experiences to ensure it behaves well with our motos.I got this one for work too (but in blue). It's Prime eligible too.

I'll try to remember to bring it home and try it out overnight. It outputs 1000mA compared to the 550mA of the stock one. Should charge a little quicker I'd think.
Does that mean that there is a chance that it could damage the watch since its twice the mA's?
This is a portable one that can be charged and carried every where http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KOOE5ZS...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU3948287
I was on the fence on getting a separate QI charger at all since the watch battery lasts me through the day, and I can take the charging dock with me on trips, but when Sony announced the Verizon Xperia Z3v with QI charging today, that pushed me over the brink. I can easily justify a sub-$20 QI charger for use with 2 QI-capable devices.I just received this today. I laid my watch on it and it did charge it but it was already at 97% before I did it. Finally got off the fence and grabbed one of the small powerbot circular Qi pads. The black one dropped from 19.99 to 16.99, so I grabbed it this morning. For anyone interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU3953804

Don't blame you for making the lower investment stop gap purchase first. I'd have a hard time justifying that $60 price tag on the bank; especially when cheaper ones are most likely out there now, and definitely will be in the near term.I might as well start with a charger at this price, and add a bank later. Thanks!

Re: PowerBot Qi charger
Just received mine, but it came with 2 different mini+standard mm sized USB chords (that look the same to me). I haven't been able to locate a measurement of the original Nexus 5 USB anywhere, so how do I know which to use with the original Nexus 5 wall adapter?

If you got what I got, it's just 2 different length USB cables. one is 1ft, the other is 4ft. They have the same connection on each end, so they are just provided as a convenience in case a shorter cable is better for your needs.
