I said I want to open a new account. I'm having trouble choosing a phone. I asked them about the "merge" picture. But, I directed him to the picture of it saying that I don't know the name. After directing him to the merge picture this is the convo.

VZW REP: Wow. What is that phone?
Puts me on hold.
VZW REP: It's the HTC Touch Pro 2. It's been discontinued.
ME: Oh. I see over here that it's called the HTC Merge. Do you know anything about that?
VZW REP: No, I don't. I guess it might be a new phone that hasn't been releasesd yet.
ME: Alright, thank you.

IIRC usually CSR's are some of the last to know about new devices to prevent them from being leaked. It makes sense that he wouldn't know....or does he?

I just found it funny when he goes "Wow! What is that phone?"
I know a sales rep only really knows what he needs to know to make a sale. It's just pissing me off because I want this phone so bad.
