Welcome to the forums. I read over your question. It is a bit on the technical side for our site, but not out of the realm of anyone answering. AAQ is awfully busy and questions can get buried quickly.

An account will need to be created to reply to threads.

I don't wish to be unkind but I gave up because you kept going off on tangents and it is so difficult to read. Can you condense it and preferably give your questions as bullet points?
One thing I don't understand is why you haven't restored the back up and see what is there. If your data isn't in the cloud it gets tricky and expensive. There are data recovery services which can remove the microchip and recover your data. This usually costs hundreds.

Galactic Zoo, no offense taken.

As to restoring, I wasn't certain if the new data not downloaded since the motherboard failure on the old phone would also be incorporated into the new phone once connecting via Wi-Fi. It would've presented problems had the data relevant from the time of activation of the old phone to the time of the motherboard failure been recoverable from the micro-SD card, for instance. In that case, the data from the time of last backup to the time of the motherboard failure would've been unaccounted for. I was just being cautious due to lack of knowledge about the process.

I'll close this thread, then, since you'll go back to your original thread -- this will help prevent parallel discussions. Thanks!
