One feature that you like the most on Thunderbolt

I don't know if there already is a thread for this. If there is I ask the mods to merge this thread with that one.

While we wait for Thunderbolt, I am wondering what would be one feature that you like the most about Thunderbolt (based on what we know so far) if you had to pick just ONE!

For me, it would be Skype Video Calls. I already use Skype Mobile on my DInc (and on Fascinate before that) to talk to my friends and relatives overseas (I originally come from Nepal). Some of them say "I can't see you" and I have to explain I am on a cellphone and it does not support video. It would be nice to be able to have a video call via Skype - just like Skype to Skype calling on the computer.

I'm more of a fan of the whole package, but one thing I'm particularly pleased about is that it's HTC. I've been impressed with their hardware since the days when they were making phones for other people and not under their own name. I wanted to buy their stock because I knew they were poised to for some serious action. I didn't, and they were.

One of the features I think is neat about HTC's Sense is the thing where if you flip the phone face down on the table, it automatically goes into silent mode. That's handy for meetings and meals and stuff. It appears to be a feature of Sense and so I guess would work on all of their phones or at least the ones with versions of Sense current enough to have that. It's just a nice little touch. I don't know if phones by other makers do it too.

You can see a little demo of it here: HTC - HTC Sense along with a few other neat little features like how the compass and map work together in real time to help you orient yourself. I have a horrible sense of direction and this will be great. So will the Preview Your Drive feature. On trips I've always got my Google Maps printout in the seat next to me and each turn has a little picture that's not connected to the rest of the route map, so it's a little disorienting sometimes, and there might be multiple pages. This preview feature runs you through your mapped route in advance to help you get a grip on your overall route. That may not be unique to Sense either but I like it.

So maybe my one favorite feature about this phone is Sense. Or maybe it's just having Google Maps in my hand for the first time. It's a tossup.

While convenient, I think my least favorite thing may be getting email on my phone now. Because now people at work will know they can email me anytime and expect a response. I've never had a data plan and so have never had to put up with that. Ah well, it was a good run.

I'd have to say trying out the 4G LTE network. Screen size is second since I have an OG Droid right now and third would be Skype video if it comes with it.

Ability to get unlimited 4g for 29.99 (possibly). This could be it's bigest advantage over the bionic if tiered data plans come out before the bionic.

Other features that stand out to me from other phones: large screen, kickstand, 32gb sd card pre-installed, unlocked bootloader.

I want a camera that I can click on and it is IMMEDIATELY ready to take a pic. Sometimes the picture you want will happen within the next 10 seconds. If it takes a phone 20 seconds to be ready to take that pic then it is of no use to me. I think the Bolt will work for this, but im just guessing.

Another thing I found that's important is that there be no lag between when you press the on-screen button and when it actually snaps. I was playing with the Nexus S in Best Buy and was really disappointed by its shutter lag. Then I put it down and picked up and iPhone 4 and it snapped instantly. It makes a big difference, particularly when the subject is moving, even just at walking pace. I really wish they had dedicated hard buttons for taking pictures too but they seem to be going the way of the dodo.

The Evo is like that, and has been out for a year. It's all in the processor speed, so yes, the Bolt will be fine.

My favorite feature on the Bolt will be 4G so my wife quits snagging mine to download music. She'll go to amazon, find a bunch of songs or complete albums, then use my Mp3 downlaoder app and find them.
