Hi. Have just bought a htc one m7, love it. It came from hong Kong to the UK. It runs 5.0.2 android 6.0 sense with software 7.19.401.22. My problem is when the new software update comes up it downloads ok but when I install I get a red triangle with an exclamation mark in it. It's this cos it came from hong Kong?

The help I'm asking for is some way to stop this and all future software updates from even coming up on my phone.

I just don't even want the notifications coming up on the pull down menu.

Can anybody help?

I don't want to have have to root my phone as I don't know what I am doing there and am really happy bar this.

When you get another notification, you can pull down the shade, longpress it and an icon that looks like an i in a circle should appear. You should be able to kill notifications after clicking on that./
