Can't compare to the P9 as I don't own it, but this camera seems to be on par with my Samsung GALAXY S6 edge + for low light clarity.

It did well on my trip to Iceland. I can nitpick on its dynamic range and its tendency to blow out pics at times....

Yes, I would. I go back and forth with it as a daily driver and it does not disappoint.

I'm very happy with camera for still shots. My issue is indoors with a slightly moving child. Always blurs. Dies anyone have a hack that can increase shutter speed? Or is it something else? Also, here are some meerkat ****s which I think turned out pretty damn sharp.
