One Plus Open

Tell me there’s a way to see notifications in different colors …watching video they were stating all notifications come in white regardless of source

I’m not sure. He mentioned in his review video that the icons on the AOD would be different colors but in the video he didn’t receive any notifications to test it LOL.
Haha ..I think the reviewer I watched mentioned the regular notifications from the drop-down..

What I would like to see, and this has been an issue for me since my first OnePlus phone is that you have no ability to adjust HOW LONG, or HOW OFTEN the edge lighting stays active after receiving a notification! SAMSUNG is just as bad!!! Sammy gives you three settings and NONE of them are worth the trouble? I don't think OnePlus even does that! What is wrong with these companies...why go through the trouble of providing some type of screen flash/color/edge lighting...and NOT give us the ability to decide how long we want the flashing to continue????
Some of us (ME INCLUDED) do not use always on, or ambient display! I hate it!
So I use a 3rd party app to do what I want (I change apps depending on the phone) and I have a RED colored border all around the edge of my screen that flashes on every notification and continues flashing according to my settings. For this phone I use aodNotify found here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.notificationlightled
Also, the app has the ability to use a different color for different notifications! YMMV

Oh cool it does a ring around the camera!! Downloading this first thing when I get my phone tomorrow.

Samsung's Flip thought me I'm not into foldables.

The Open/Fold makes more sense but it's also more expensive and phones today are pretty much like tablets.

What I hate is they have it in green LOL tempting but I went with the 11 instead.
