Is it really possible to call a smart display using Google Duo without having the other person to accept it? It would be great if I can check on my pet whenever I'm running a little late from work
@John The receiver has to accept the call either by voice command or using the touch screen so I don't think it'll work on your pet. My family usually uses it to video call my parents.
But you can hook up your smart display to a nest camera or something similar. I use a baby monitor camera so that I can monitor my kid using the display when I'm in the kitchen. I can also check in using my phone when I'm not home. I think there's a camera that already has GA integrated in it so you might want to get that as a standalone for your pet? I'm not sure but perhaps @B.Diddy could recommend one?
