I actually ordered the 8/128 but will be either returning it or selling it because I just recently found out about the s8 deal for 424. The oneplus 5 is NOT WORTH the $150 more than the s8. On the contrary the s8 in general is a much better phone when it comes to screen, camera, sd card, waterproofing and design.

You still got to trade in a phone, it's a great deal depending on what you are trading in. If you are trading in some old phone which doesn't have much value and they are giving you $200 for that then it's probably a great purchase at that price for the S8.

Well yes of course, the greatness of the deal is that I can trade in a worthless Amazon fire phone and get 200$. Anyone can even hop on amazon and buy a cheap BLU phone for $50 or less and trade that in. Any way you spin it, its a great deal and much better value than the OP5.

I am sure the fine print would say "upto $200". If Samsung is giving away $200 just for any phone, seems like they are desperate to sell for some reason.

I'm still stuck on "processing." still have the estimated delivery as the 23rd via fedex though. Kind of not holding my breath for Friday, but ya never know!

Are you ditching your HTC U11 for this? I'm actually returning my U11 as it just feels very "meh" to me. I missed out on the early orders for the OP5 so I'm waiting until next week to decide what I want to do.

I was going to cancel my op5 and get U11. Can you give me your thoughts on U11? Recent Samsung deal is also hard to resist.
