Oneplus 6 or S9+?

I pre-ordered the Note9 and it is a tad bit much to handle. Anyway, I am weighing my options and it's between the S9+ or OP6. I like the idea of both for various reasons. This will be for business use, although I may make my iPhone X the business line. Anyway, thoughts from anyone that has/ had both?

I don't own both, but I considered buying both earlier in the year. The reason I decided to not go with the S9+ was the curved screen and the Samsung software bloat. I've had my OP6 since it was released and have enjoyed it greatly as I was coming off a 4 1/2 year old Nexus 5.
Granted I'm not a heavy phone user, so the OP6 was a perfect "fit" for me.

I use my OP6 for business and personal, without any issues. I had an S8+ previously (sold on Swappa) but for usability, clean almost pure android experience without useless features and bloatware as well as the significant cost difference IMO the OP6 wins hands down

How long do you plan on keeping it? I’ve had both and I think if I had to only have one long term, it would be the oneplus 6. All my Samsung phones slow down after a certain amount of time and my oneplus phones haven’t had that problem. I like both for different reasons but yeah if I had to chose one.

Have you used a curved screen phone before? The S8 drove me batty, so I moved on to something else...

Morty, I actually got the S9+ but I have an open return request. I may be getting the OP6 still. I'm going to decide by Monday.

I'm considering selling my regular Pixel 2 while they're still making good money on eBay, then buy a OnePlus 6 as there are several good deals in the UK at them moment (no doubt to clear stock with the 6T imminent). Was thinking about waiting for the 6T so might regret it just to save a few quid.

At this point I would save for the 6t but the 6 is awesome phone

As it is for business, camera isn't much important. One plus 6 is the phone you should prefer as it contains 6GB ram while S9 contains 4 GB ram at the same time it's battery capacity is 3300 mAH while S9 have 3000 mAH. Also one plus 6 is of Rs. 34999 and S9 of Rs. 57900.

i have both the OP6 and S9P...honestly S9P is better.yeah yeah i know flagship killer bla bla.the only thing the OP6 has which S9P doesnt is double tap to wake.other than that the S9P wins overall.

OP said S9 Plus...and S9P has 6GB ROM and 256GB ROM with 3500mAh...and external MicroSD slot...OP6 has 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM...

honestly nobody needs 8GB...even i hardly use 6GB of RAM on my 8GB OP6...

I have both phones and also plan on getting the 6t when it's released. I love the OP phones, they are fast fluid and battery friendly. Having said this my 9+ has been fast and fluid with no hiccups yet. I will say in terms of battery my OP outlasts my 9+.

One reason I love my 9+ is Samsung pay. It just works and is too convenient. The curved screen doesn't bother me a bit and has grown on me some.

I'm also thinking about adding the note 9 to my line up as well.

No body needs 8 gb. I remember a year or 2 back everyone said the same thing about 6gb.

TBH the 8gb runs a little smoother on both OP and the Note 9 imo.

but my S9P runs smoother than my 8GB OP6...well it would be fair if i compared to a 8GB Note 9 as different OS might have different performance.

I find that hard to believe. My OP 6 /8 gb runs better than my Samsung with 6gb. Granted it is probably negligible most if the time but the OP is smoother

I have had both 6 and 8 gb OP. I'm getting the 8gb note 9 so I'll be able to compare to the 8gb OP as well. If your s9 is running smoother than your OP you have a something running in the background that's causing issues.

I have had both 6 and 8 gb OP. I'm getting the 8gb note 9 so I'll be able to compare to the 8gb OP as well. If your s9 is running smoother than your OP you have a something running in the background that's causing issues.

Erm... They both have the same launcher. And 9/10 same apps...try comparing with a 6GB S9 Plus...

In your previous post you only mentioned OP6 with 6GB ram and 8GB ram and Note 9...
