Slight correction. While there is no dedicated notification LED, They did implement a "Halo" ring of light all the way around the edge of the display for notifications.

Additionally, while other companies give IP ratings, they do not back the rating in their warranty. So what the hell good is the rating if you don't back it up? I have already seen a review where the reviewer put the OP7 Pro in a jug of water with a timer running for the entire review. I think it will be ok

An IP rating tells the user exactly what the device is certified for. All we have to go on with the Pro is OP's word that it is 'water resistant'

I have only seen it demo'd in one review and it just kinda showed it but didn't go in to any detail. I will have mine tomorrow and I will let you know

Looks like it flashes once when the notification comes in, along with a small description of the notification on the screen. I cannot find any settings for it yet

If it's sitting where you see it, it's nice. You know you got a message without and interrupting sounds and such.

But yes, if you miss the notification it does nothing for you.

I hope they add settings to allow you to have it light up more often after a notification.
