OnePlus 8 help with Google Assistant...

Just got the OnePlus 8 yesterday and traded in my 7t with T mobile so they phone was $350!

But cant figure why Google Assistant is not working with voice activation?

Any ideas?

2nd question LTE is faster then 5g? Most of our cities (Phoenix, Peoria, Scottsdale all are 5g but have only done one test where 5g is faster and know t mobile claims better connection in side by dont see a difference?

Thoughts?

If I'm thinking right, Tmobile has the slower 5g band. It's not much, if any faster in reviews I've seen the LTE from other carriers. ATT has 5ge which is just a beefed up LTE, that is faster than Tmobiles 5g.
