The Oneplus 8 will have the bullet hole screen and I think it is a shame they got rid of the pop up camera. The full screen was lovely. It should also have an always on display as well. Wonder if it will finally have wireless charging.

Anyone watching live stream, 8 pro does look like a beast and camera looks promising based on what they unveiled. Let's see how it performs in the real world.

And looks like they have Verizon specific UW 5G phone but as always for me **** carrier variants and will be getting the non carrier unlocked version straight from OnePlus. But good to see they have an option with Verizon now since majority people buy carrier versions.

Haha yeah price not a concern for me, obviously cheaper the better. But it is what it is and they have decided to move up to play more in the flagship price range than mid-range. That means lots of things have to be perfect now including the camera given that low price excuse doesn't hold any more.

Yes green only available in 8/128 GB combination. I want the 12/256 version so going with blue instead. Would have gone green if it was available in 12/256 version.

Yes atleast in US on OnePlus.com, glacier green is only available in 8/128 GB. No surprise there since they do similar things for every release, specific color only available in certain storage combination. And as far as backorder it's not going on sale until tomorrow.

Not sure about other countries and carriers in the US. As of now US carriers (T-Mobile and Verizon) are only selling OnePlus 8 and that too Verizon is only selling them later in the year. US carriers aren't selling the 8 pro not that it matters to me anyway about what US carriers sell

Glacial Green only having 8/128 option is ridiculous. That's the color I would go for if I wanted a phone today.

What 5g bands does it support? One article I read said only sub 6. Another also mentioned SA and NSA. Does the latter mean it will support mmwave and maybe midband? Thanks

Other than Verizon variant of OnePlus 8 none of the other variants (unlocked/TMobile) support the millimeter wave 5G. And the unlocked version doesn't support AT&T 5G because AT&T isn't certifying the phone to use their 5G (weird that even needs to be done on AT&T).

Canadian pricing is pretty intense... But I guess if you want flagship specs like IP 68 ratings, you get what you pay for! Though the OnePlus 8 is about $1,100 without having that rating.

Orders are open now !! Pre ordered asap. Estimated dispatch date is April 17th on the order but based on experience from earlier OnePlus pre-orders won't be surprised if it gets dispatched today itself. Can't wait to receive it

Was sitting with tab open and as soon as it turned 9 pm PST, the button changed to buy now and I was done in couple of minutes

I'm guessing they had very few units for the launch promotion. Anyway it's going to be back in stock on April 29th which is the general release date in the US.
