only connecting at 2mb?

Ok so i got the m931 and I'm happy with everything about the phone except for one small detail. My wireless router is an older linksys befw11s4. Every device on the house connects at 11mb except for the premia. Is out possible ours a kernel module issue or is it just an incompatibility issue related to hardware. thanks in advance
