Only getting 1x in a 3g area after...

Mobile network type:
CDMA - 1xRTT

I've used both LTE/CDMA radios from Gingerbread and Froyo and can't seem to get my 3g connection back.

I just dropped InfectedRom since having it installed back in November (was never happy with DL speeds in 4g areas).

I've pulled the battery, sim card, cleared out caches... done this a few times last year so I don't think I'm missing anything "normal".

Any ideas to help my connection get back?
