? only on a battery trying to charge 1st time

I bought one of those Hong Kong specials 2200maH batteries. All it gets is ? on the screen. I suppose it is defective. Andida batteries give the great ?.

A piece of advice: never buy cheap or unknown maker batteries... you may end up damaging your phone. I get only original manufacturer batteries and i keep one spare battery with me fully charged evrytime i go somehwre for the whole day...

I wouldn't buy a non oem battery either. I don't trust those knock off products.
