Open book cover and memo box is black and unusable

Hi all,

I have a SM-P605 with Android 4.4.2 and an original book cover. When I open the cover I have a useful calendar and memo box for daily sketches and notes. Since a few days the memo box is black and I am not able to write anything into it. Did anyone experience the same issue? How did you solve?

My sister had a similar problem. Try going to Settings > General > Application manager > All, scroll to Daynote, tap on it, then clear data/cache.
