Opening up 2 apps

How can I run 2 apps at once..

Keep in mind only certain apps can be opened in pop-up view. If you have apps open, press the app window button to the left of the home key. If an app shows an icon in the top right of the window, you can tap that to open in multi view. See the photo attached.
