Opinion Needed: Is The Room #1 OK for an 8 year old to play?

I don't have a kindle, but I had some credit to burn at Amazon and paid $0.99 for The Room 1.

I would like to allow my 8 year old nephew to play. He is pretty smart and likes puzzles, but is this app age appropriate? Does it contain adult content?

It doesn't. It is a very good game. And the puzzles aren't that difficult. It has creepy noises, but there isn't adult content.

The Room 1 or 2 will be fine. Would be ok for any age.
