Glad to hear the Y50BT are good! I just ordered them since they're on sale at shop samsung for $49.99. Used my Samsung pay rewards to get a $25 gift card so I paid $26 something after tax . They weren't free like the promotion but $25 for some $150 plus headphones is an awesome deal too.Yes. The wireless promotion headphones.
I just did some back to back with the N60 vs the Y50s I got Last year with S8. Damn, huge difference. The N60 sounds lifeless in comparison. And that's with the noise canceling enabled. For some reason if you turn the noise canceling off the sound profile changes a lot. They sound like cheap cans. WTH? I'll admit this is my first experience with active noise canceling, is this typical? I'm used to noise isolating headsets. The Y50s with the s8 are currently my best sounding set to comparing these new ones to. Unfortunately my Audio Technicas finally died after 15 years of service. Been meaning to replace them with new ones, was hoping these N60s would be it. Guess not.
! They are comfortable on the ear because they're lightweight they have a solid build and look pretty good. The mic works better than any of my other on ear headphones people can hear me clearly without me feeling like I'm yelling. The button placement takes a little getting used to, it's not as pronounced as my bluedio headset. The highs are good the mids or solid the base is decent, they're a good solid overall pair of commuting headphones. When compared with my other headsets I would say these are right in the middle. My Beats Pros have the heaviest bass but aren't very comfortable and the highs and mods are muddy. My bluedio T3 have good bass and solid overall sound but are relatively heavy and get uncomfortable after a while. The AKG y50bt doesn't have the bass that the other two headsets have but they have full sound, good range and they do get loud like the other pairs. I also have J-lab
that are solid as well but are on the low end when compared to the aforementioned sets I've listed.
