Optical Image Stabilization

Does it or does the SGN3 not have optical image stabilization for the camera? I keep seeing different sites saying different things.

No, it has "Smart Stabilization," which isn't Optical Image Stabilization.

From what I can gather reading about software stabilization on the galaxy camera it's software that can help with slight jitters. It won't actually shift the lens to compensate, but it uses Samsung software to Eliminate slight jitters caused by hand shaking.

There isn't really much about it but I would assume it's like what kca2000 is saying. Some algorithm of some sort set in the software in order to compensate for shaking. Perhaps by way of gyroscope sensing movements. We'll find out more when they get in-depth with interviews in the next coming days.
