Optical Joystick issue - Froyo

Has anyone else experienced issues with their optical joystick since getting the 2.2 upgrade? I can still navigate with mine, but it is now non-responsive when pressing in on it. This is very troubling, especially since this is the method I prefer for taking pictures.

I have.. It scrolls the screen up and down but it wont scroll within the text fields to click on something..
