Try Sense Analog Clock Dark free from the Play Store. You can set the update interval and you can put a ton of system info on the display, like battery level, battery temp, free system memory, free SD card space, next alarm, moon phase. You can set an app to run when you tap the hours or the minutes. I use it with Widget Locker (not free) as the display for my lock screen.
