Optimus gone mad

Have optimus s. Would suddenly go to zero charge from 50 to 100% and shut down. Also would boot loup. Sprint store service tech said bad battery. Replaced battery. More of same and getting worse. All of old probs plus now shutting down and rebooting even when plugged in. Ideas? I am trucker so use 12 volt charger. Hav replaced charger 3 times, eash a different brand. No dif.

Yep, try this first. It's what they'll make you do first if you call or take it in anyway.

When I took it in they took it back to "out of the box" with all I had installed removed. And again second time I took it in. third time is when they told me it's the battery, which I replaced to no avail. Was what they did a "wipe"?

Bad connection between the battery and the actual power supply? Broken solder maybe

An ebay optimus used with a good esn will cost you about $30 shipped within the continental US.

When my evo was stolen last week that's exactly what I did....

Yes but it sounds like this is a hardware issue if thay reset it twice and it still messing up the only thing you can do is replace it
