Optimus V Update Available?

I was messing with the settings to see if I had a firmware update, and it says I did! When I clicked "Install", the phone rebooted and went into recovery. It says at the bottom in yellow "E:signature verification failed Installation aborted. no valid image in CACHE. Was this a mistake on VM's part?
EDIT: BTW this is my first post on the forum, so hi everybody!

damn i wish he would of responded back i was curious to see what happened
