Optimus V (Virgin Mobile)

Any one know how to get mms to work will not send or receive? Not with stock or handcent messanger

I work for Target (pays the bills while I'm in school) and yes, we are allowed to sell it. The reason for it not being on the floor? Varies by store. The main reason in most stores is that they haven't been sent the signing, materials, and display yet. We're working on it though :P

Lol, I work at Target also. I read on another forum a Team Member told the guy they had some in the stockroom but couldn't sell it until all the Intercepts were sold off. That was some major BS. Surprised the dude left to go elsewhere without further inquiry.
When I was looking for it to buy at work I searched for the Optimus V on the PDA. No matches and GS kiosks can't display mobile phones on the PC. So I found the DPCI from some website saying it's available at Target and gave that number to another store and it came up. Pretty weird, huh?
Almost like when the Intercept's release date arrived. Not set on pegs but we had them in the back.

Or you can try "Quick Settings". It has WiFi Hotspot and then some, like power toggles, etc.

I have a similar problem. I can send MMS messages (both vids & pics), but I can't receive MMS videos. Does anybody else have this problem?

VM supposedly has a 1MB limit on video MMS, which is a joke considering the phone records video at a 2000kbps video bit rate. People are talking about 5 seconds max for video MMS on VM.

If your MMS is not working, and you have done the whole pull the battery and rehit the activation button routine, you need to call VM and get them to put in a Trouble Ticket on your phone that goes to engineering escalation. Your phone may well need to be reprovisioned in the network. I (and others) have gone through weeks of no MMS until this was done...in my case it was likely aggravated by the fact(s) that I was adding services to an existing account and outside my home area as defined by my area code. A trouble ticket asks for a lot of detailed info including your physical location. Once that went in, my MMS finally started working as soon as I got an email from Virgin Escalation 48 hours later.
