Options to Cover the Back of the Phone

The EVO LTE looks like a great phone, but I'm not a fan of the styling. I really hope someone make a low profile cover/case to cover the two-tone back and red kickstand. I would like to be able to use the camera with the case on. I can remove the case if I need to use the kickstand. Protection isn't a key concern for me.

Another option would be finding a non-glossy top panel cover and painting or replacing the kickstand. I'm not sure if replacing the kickstand will be possible.

My preorder has already been placed. I was a little hesitant due to the phone's appearance, but I assume there will be some options to cover questionable styling.

Havnt seen a case design yet that didn't use or have another kickstand, and the person that would release a case for a phone and block the camera should be shot.

If protection isn't a key concern I'd go with an adhesive skin instead of a case. Skinit makes nice products, with a huge library of images and textures or an option to upload your own picture. They don't have templates for the E4GLTE yet, but they're usually pretty fast about adding new phones once they're requested. I'm sure there are plenty of other manufacturers of similar skins out there as well.

That's what I'm saying, I have yet to see one that covers the kickstand or doesn't have one to utilize at all, they all have one of utilize the stock one. I know what covers I'm watching for, Otterbox has them up now, just awaiting an email to order. The OP doesn't know what he wants yet lol

Always wondered why I never see a case with a sliding lens cover to protect the camera. Maybe they fear your marksmanship?

I don't know if you can patent such an idea, since regular cameras have had sliding lens covers for ages... but then again, people are always saying how broken the patent laws are...

I had a Zagg Invisible Shield on the front of my Palm Pre for 3 years and had zero issues with it. I would like to put this on the front of the EVO LTE as well. But do you think if I put the invisible shield on the camera lens on the back if it would interfere with the camera at all? Just don't want to scratch it.

Agreed, I have never seen this either, also I am not putting anything on this bad boy. It comes with Gorilla Glass!! If anything maybe on the wekeends I will use a TPU case but thats it.

I would think that, after a year, there should be no shortage of replacement cover options.
