T-Mobile has a deal on the galaxy watch 5 for a new line for 149 so I ordered one to replace my 3.

Just got shipping notice will receive on the 22nd it's release date is the 26th nice surprise!!

I just hope they activate the temp sensor properly before or near launch (reviewers have stated that this is not doing much ATM). Otherwise this will be yet another blood pressure sensor story (2 years plus, and still waiting).

It's the FDA holding this stuff up not Samsung over seas not in the USA everything is available at launch.

Agreed, this whole blood pressure thing is complete BS. I know there is a workaround but we shouldn't be paying $400 or more for products that don't deliver on features.

I know it is, but the fact remains that 'coming shortly after launch' from the Active TWO has still been an unfulfilled promise. mApple is having similar issues with their temp sensor as well (allegedly). FDA or not, it's an announced feature that is there but not active for the US, regardless of the legal reason for it.

Manufactures are known for crap like this why they do it is crazy.

Does it not come with the sensor?! WTF? Are you sure? I'd have thought it would come with it but just disabled if not approved by specific regions...

They all come with the sensor. Samsung just hasn't turned on the infrared sensor yet in most (if not all) areas of the world.

Yeah, as mlblack said, I'm sure it's in there... it just may as well not be at the moment.

I was just making the point that it isn't just the FDA holding it up in the US, it probably isn't available anywhere.

I'm a little annoyed tbh. another ghost feature from Samsung... How long until the temperature sensor is enabled? When the watch 6 comes out? The watch 8?

Received my new watch today works great but watche faces are only from the play store now so I lost almost all of my faces except one.
I also picked up the spigen screen protector and device case and they both worked great highly recommend. Anyone want to buy my watch 3 send me a message.

When I sent in my Active 2 for the watch 4 they told me all I needed was the watch to return no band or charger. But today I was told when I return the watch 4 I do have to turn in the band with it but can keep the charger. Just curious what I need to do. I'm scared cause last time they tried telling me I sent them in a different watch I had pictures and everything.

So far this new watch is much better than my watch 3. It's faster in every way having Google OS makes life easier. I can highly recommend this watch to anyone.

Just got my Pro 5 Black here in US (Northern Va). It had 85% charge, but will charge to 100% and then set up as new device and reload programs. Will update post, once done.
