Oreo on 6P -- FPS slow to open?

I sideloaded the latest September O build, and it's the first time I've noticed the fingerprint sensor occasionally taking its own sweet time to respond. It's not noticeably slow all the time, and it hasn't failed to open at all, but I'm used to a much snappier response than I've seen the past couple of days.

Anyone else?

Have not noticed that, has been the same since I have had phone. I have had O for a while.

I've only had 8.0 a few days but haven't noticed any delay using the FPS.

I'll chalk it up to teething pains for the new OS then. I was wondering if Doze might be getting overly aggressive and getting in the way.

FPS is fine for me, although I have noticed just about everything else has got much, much slower. Might go back to Nougat.
