Oreo wireless charging issue

Greetings,

T-Mobile G6 here. Just updated to Oreo yesterday. Since then using my Samsung Fast charge pad, my phone only gets to 97% then stops & then will restart charging. Never had a problem getting to 100% before. Any ideas?

Mine works fine. Try clearing the system cache.

Tried clearing cache. Also tried different cables, outlets, wall adapters & a different charging pad. Pretty sure it's the phone or should I say the software.

Adaptive Fast Charge isn't exactly the same as Qualcom Quick Charge 3.0 - there are differences, and they may account for what you're seeing. (It's going to b at least another 2 years before everyone switches to Power Delivery [if everyone does] - so while any charger can charge any phone, they won't all work the same for a while.)

Well after putting it off, I finally did a factory reset. Did not fix my charging issue.

I believe I had the same issue with my Samsung charging pad, so I switched to a different brand pad and it's been working fine charging to 100%.
