Organizing Photos?

Is there a better way or an app that helps u organize photos better?

i just plug the hero into my comp in storage mode and organize them into folders there, much easier than on a phone.

I just spent ages creating folders and sorting pics into each. My computer shows them all organized. however my captivate still shows them in a pile//no folders? what did i do wrong?
