Highly doubtful since that processor was causing them pproblems in the first place. We will find out soon enough I'm sure.

Still begs the question, why do you think they would switch to the Tegra now? Seems like the Droid 3 Is much quicker running the OMAP than the DX2 is running the Tegra, why switch back?

Oh really then why did they scrap it for a new design? All the issues were battery and overheating due to processor but go ahead believe what you want.

Not switching. It always was. Photon, Atrix and Bionic will all be running the Tegra 2 (Atrix and Photon are the obvious of course)

If you would have read what I said I didn't claim any facts . I said I was going to step out of the line and make a statement.

The others are not commenting as this being a fact. We are only having a discussion on the processor based off of speculation. TI OMAP is not confirmed, neither is the Tegra 2 and until they are we can only speculate.

Well if it is Tegra 2, which I'm almost positive it's not, that would be a huge fail. The OMAP4 is much better than the Tegra 2.

I'd like to also add that if they do in fact throw the Tegra 2 in it AND make it a 4.5" screen. Verizon will have a winner on hand. I still won't buy it but I think from a marketing standpoint it will be a homerun.

Because a while back benchmarks of the Droid Bionic were shown to have a PowerVR GPU, which the OMAP4 has. I don't think it will have an OMAP4460. The OMAP4430 is more likely.
