Original or classic?

It's there somewhere on the Internet, that band is what convinced me to get the classic

So I had a rep at the samsung booth in Macy's say that Samsung was going to release the dark sport version on 10/2, the white sport version 2 weeks later and then the classic a few weeks after that. This seems like an odd release strategy buthas anyone else heard anything about this?
Well that's a dumb release strategy smh. I hope he's wrong, but judging from the quiet, he's probably right. I really wanted the classic version, but with all this waiting, I'm starting to change my mind.

Yeah. The other rep said they will both be released on Friday and they both work for Samsung, not Macy's, so I guess Samsung is being quiet even with their store reps.

Best Buy Canada website shows all 3 watches (Classic, White Original & Black Original) available on October 2nd. I would be shocked if they weren't all available this Friday in the U.S. as well. We never.. and I mean never get anything ahead of the U.S. Its either same day or a few weeks/months later

Will the classic require tools to switch bands? I like the look of the classic better but want a different band for regular day-to-day use and one for exercising. I want something that is very quick and easy to swap bands before and after I exercise. Thanks.

Classic will take standard watch bands like a normal watch. Sport takes Samsung only bands which really blows.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject. What is the normal process on a watch to change a band? Is it something that can be done very quickly and easily before and after exercising in a locker room or would that be a pain in the a$$.

The standard watchband has a little spring loaded catch that you have to push in to take off and push in to out back in. It is not the easiest of tasks. Not sure about the Samsung band on the sport.

It has a small clip on the back for the included band, I'd you use a 3rd party band you will need a tool that usually comes with bands

I like the minimalist look of the original but the band is way to kiddish. Hope they have band options on release, would like a metal band for the original.

Original. I like the look. No reason spending extra 50 bucks. Besides I'm a bagger currently so I'm bumping my hand into things all the time.

Bezel after two days on the Sport version is quite easy to use. I may just be more used to it, or it is now less stiff. No need to apply much pressure at all.

I thought originally that I would get the classic. Of course, it's not available yet. So I bought the original. The band is quite comfortable and can be gotten wet which is a plus. I'll take this one out kayaking. I wouldn't do that with the classic/leather. Also, don't like leather when working out.

To get a classic I would need to spend $50 + the cost of a sport-oriented band.

The looks of this watch are quite nice. Nicer in person than in pictures. Of course, nothing like a Huawei which looks gorgeous and classy. The original is both sporty and stylish. Dressy enough for (my) work. But not high fashion. Which suits me just fine.

So, it all depends on your needs. And the money you are able/willing to pay.
