Original Weather Widget for Third Party Launcher

If you are using a Third party Launcher, like Nova and Google Now and would like to use the original Weather Widget, well you can get something very similar, go to this thread I posted over the regular S6 forum and take a look. http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6/529230-alternative-original-weather-widget-third-party-launchers.html

I'm going to look into this. Looks neat. Is there anyway to get rid of the leading 0? I know you were able to fix the text, which I hope to do, but wondered if the leading 0 could be removed?

I found a way to kinda come close without Xwidgets. Example:

But unfortunately the shadow on the clock makes it look strange. Cant get rid of it. I just used the clock widget for the clock, and the Weather widget for the weather. At least the one on mine looks just like the weather pic on TW. But this one won't let me manually pick a city and turn off location. The TW widget would allow me to choose city manually and not have to use GPS.

Your issue was exactly the same one I found when I tried that last month, I did the same, separate widgets for the Clock and weather and found exactly the same than you, I didn't like the look so I went back to my old Weather widget until I changed it for this one now.

So far no way of removing the leading 0, I need to take a closer look at the code behind it to see if I can change that, but nothing so far, and it's the only thing that doesn't look like the original, but like I said, it's very close to the original.

Yeah, The only thing with this is, when you change themes, it doesn't change this one to match the theme. Which for the most part is fine, but if I were to use a theme or a desktop pic that was light, the clock and weather would be difficult to see.

I know there is a edit on the theme, but I'm unfamiliar with XWidgets, so will have to play around and see if there is a option to change colors and how to do it.

Just managed to take a look at the code behind it, and removed the png file that it looks for when there is a leading zero, it did the job. I updated the Zip file I posted earlier so if you download the zip now it will contain the newest widget.

Sorry, but to change colors will be hard, it can be changed in the text boxes but the Hour digits are all PNG files, so unless you recreate those same PNG files with different colors it won't be possible.

Well I went to click here and get a page not found. Had no trouble last time I clicked the here in you post on the S6 forum, but now it gives me a page not found.

Just edited the original post with new zip file and Screenshot with leading 0's removed.

I forgot to mention in the previous post that now that I used the Lite version instead of the Pure, this one uses just text boxes for everything, no PNG files, so now if you change the Theme to a lighter or white background where it will affect the Widget appearance, you can go to the widget and edit those text boxes to change the font color to a darker one and it should work great.

Cool. This will be a cool thing to be able to do. Look forward to trying that. Hope I can figure out how to edit it. I usually do, just have to try it. Thanks!!!!

Look for the new version in the other thread, changed all text boxes flat style to just 1, the shadows are less pronounced as they were clearly visible in lighter wallpapers and I didn't see it before because of my wallpaper color. Also, it's more standard for both S6 and edge, before the leading number in the hour was at the S6 Edge's left edge.
