got the no VM note and this morning when I restarted my phone I got "sim card invalid contact Verizon" need less to say I was freaking out. a quick reboot fixed that though so far nothing big. runs quicker for me.

It's just as easy to UN root as it is to root.

Quite frankly rooting provides the easiest answers to most problems.

Voicemail notifications don't work? Team bamf fixed that.

gtalk only uses back camera? go back to 605.0

Data connection or poor signal strength? try different radios

No sense 3.0 or 3.5? Don't like sense at all? Lots of solutions

It's easier to get tech support in the rooting forum than from vzw.

We're not trying to be pricks and tell you to root, but it's frustrating for someone that is rooted to see complaints about problems that are easily solved. Obviously it would be nicefor Verizon and HTC to fix these problems but the answers will always come from the development community way before vzw even will admit there is a problem.

If you want to stay stock, that is your choice, but don't be offended when someone offers you a solution to your woes. Everyone is afraid the first time they take that leap, but we're waiting for you in the rooting forum if you need help.

I've got a question. In my notification bar, I have three items at all times: weather channel temperature, battery indicator and day week bar, which gives me the day and date. On froyo, when I got a yahoo email for instance, the white envelope icon would pop up in the bar. Now on gb, when I get an email, I don't know it until I drag down the notification bar and see it. Is this a new aspect of gb, or is something here jacked up?

Is the notification turned on in yahoo/email application. I just turned mine off in gmail.

I rooted my phone....1st tbolt.....I took it in to get a new one because i cracked my screen. Before I.did.....loaded the stock Rom......rebooted....about 30 mins later.....I.was at Verizon with.a.complete stock.phone

I updated on Wednesday night, worked fine without reboot until this morning. I uninstalled weatherbug elite just in case, as that one in the past had caused my phone to reboot occasionally.

Another thing I discovered, was that the alarm clock settings had reverted back to some settings I had over a month ago....wierd.

So, at this point, just gonna keep monitoring and checking out this forum for any other strange occurances to look for.

Downloaded GB yesterday...already have had 3 reboots today. Never have had any rebooting problems and have had this phone since March.

Zero reboots or lost data connectivity since GB. Battery life is about the same (not great).

I just want it to be fixed or provide me the ability to move backwards w/o having to runa custom ROM or taking any manual approach on my part. Voice Mail Notifications actually working would be nice. I'm sad that my purchase of Let Play Golf 2 now requires me to pay again in order to play the full game again.

At this point I'm all for hammering HTC & Verizon Wireless on twitter till a fix is pushed out.

I have noticed the past two nights I have woken up with the phone OFF while sitting on the charger.

Anyone else having a problem with ringtones after the update? I have ringtones assigned to certain groups and now the phone just plays whatever ringtone it seems to be in the mood to play when someone calls. It's very random and is never the ringtone assigned to that person. Very frustrating.

Earlier today while listening to music on my phone (like I always do) it kept pausing the music.... Not sure if that was un related to the rebooting issue but irregardless it is annoying. WTF?

My issue is voice mail. And when on silent mode putting back to normal the ringtone silences and have to make sure it is set.

Yup, I also downloaded GB the moment it came out, I went a few days & all was good. Then the past few days it started rebooting, I am probably getting 1 reboot a day.. But compared to 10 a day, this I can handle..

Also lost the VM notifications.. This was not a problem before..
