OTA then Root?

Hi,

I have not done s-off, but just received notification for the OTA. After reading through the forums I'd like to set s-off before accepting the OTA.

Can I run unrevoked3 and then forever for s-off and still have get the OTA if Verizon has already sent notification?

Will the notification still be there? Or will I still get pushed the update?

I'd prefer to go OTA instead of using the zip file.

There currently is not way to root AFTER you do 2.2 if you don't have S-OFF.

If you S-OFF, when you are done, if you don't have root, you simply reinstall the clockwork recovery, and use the payload, and superuser tool and you will have root again.
