Hi,

I bought an OTG cable off of ebay (2 for .99!). It was supposed to work with the Nexus 7/10 and Samsung. Works fine with Samsung Galaxy II but no joy with the Nexus 9.

Has anyone been able to get an OTG cable working with their 9?

Thanks,

V

Get an OTG usb flash drive. One end plugs into usb on the computer, other end is your micro usb for the phone.

Thanks everyone. I'm guessing that there is something 'different' about the 9. I guess I'll just have to wait for a cable that specifically says it will work with it.

I got the Sandisk dual flash drive and it works great. The sandisk app didn't work so I am using otg disk explorer pro from the app store.

Glad to hear that. Should we know the name of the app?

The app that I used was: OTG Disk Explorer Lite. You cannot do too much with the lite version except to prove the concept. The full version, OTG Disk Explorer Pro, is a for pay app. I'm waiting for ES File Explorer to work with Lollipop and usb. They are close but still have a few bugs to work out.

I have had no difficulties using es explorer with an OTG cable. Also working is Nexus Media Importer with an otg cable. In each case I connected a 64G USB stick formated in NTFS

Have you tried the nexus media Importer app check it out
