Tl;dr I need a fast root method other than gingerbreak.apk

Hey, guys. I'm trying to root and flash my wife's T-Mobile ZTE V768 Concord. Her phone blows, and I wanna hook her up with cyanogen mod 7.2 IHO. I tried using gingerbreak..it worked on the phone I'm posting with, but I get nowhere with her phone. Any other quick alternatives to resorting to using the terminal emulator?

One click and application root methods are horrible at rooting and that is at best.
