The commuter is a great case, I just wish it came with a holster. That's reason I don't get it. Settled for the seidio active which is a great case.

I just ordered one from Smartphonepedia.com its 10 bucks cheaper than getting it from the otterbox.com

Well the defender is their big one su it definitely adds bulk to phone.
As for the commuter is thinner and smaller. It's like putting on a silicone case that's a little thicker than usual with more protection.
